Finally! yay! so my business is up and ready to go! www.thepinkknot.blogspot.com is the website. Ive bee so excited to get this going! thanks for everyones patients! i know it took longer than i thought. Give me some feedback and let me know what u think alright! I will be adding pacifier attachments and diaper bags very soon! I had to change my buisness name, but i was totally fine with it because i like this one so much better. Its been alot of work but im up for it, and it gives me something more to do at home, sense im here alllll day! :) I am really enjoying it and brandon has been so amazing helping me with everything! I had to metion him cuz he has given me alot of opinions and has kept me motivated!! i love him. Well go take a look! :)

mommy tears!

so i thought i would blog about something i know is SOO true!! and it was even confirmed by the other moms ive talked to! so ever sense i have had my little baby boy, i cry over everything. Me and my sister were laughing cuz we cry over the same tv comercial! haha so crazy.. every show and every movie i watch with the slitest emotional part in it, i sob! lol then i just laugh at myself cuz i know its so dumb im crying,, so it has to be something that happens to a women after they have a baby. its just has to be!! I think my husband thinks im depressed lol.. (no he doesnt really) Sometimes ill be rocking Gavin to sleep, and i will just start crying happy tears, i just love him so much. I remember watching my mom growing up and she would cry over every present, every card, every movie.. and now as a MOM i know why. :) I think having a baby gives a mom something she loves more than anything and it gives her happy tears ALL THE TIME! thats my theory! I wouldnt change it for anything.

where o where has all the time gone?

So it seems like just yesterday i was dating brandon, and now im married with a baby, who is already 6 months! I was trying to think how it has gone so quike! what have i been doing while time has been flying by? nothing... lol. well i must have been doing something right. I heard the other day of someone doing a bucket list. so sense time goes so fast and it seems i get nothing done i wanted to, im making a bucket list. .. but instead im going to make it my 5 yrs instead of "before i die" so here are a few ive had in mind the last couple days. ill stick with 10 things so i dont get in over my head!.

1. start cooking dinner atleast 5 times in the week from my jessica seinfeild cookbook (healthy puree style!)
2. potty train gavin with succes (meaning it not going everywhere)
3. Have baby number 2 ! or hopefully even 3 ...;)
4. Get my online buisness going (soon!)
5. Finally start learning dances from my "dancing with the stars dvd haha
6. Start yoga and palletes one time daily
7. Go on a trip just with brandon ,, somewhere out of the U.S.A
8. Sell my paintings i have been doing that are taking up our whole garage.
9. Make a trip up to the far north to see my long lost sister. :) (ive never been to her house and she been here one time)
10. and last but not least. . build a house with my hubby. with a big closet, big kitchen, and big bath tub! :)

well last week my very good friend capri came over and took some pics of my little guy for me. they turned out so great! good job capri! so here a few! i just love him so much. when ever i get pics done i just wanna kiss him and kiss him lol its so much fun to take pictures when they r changing so much and doing new things.

My little munchkin is doing so many new things the past two weeks. He has definatly got his loud screeming personality from his dad lol cuz thats how brandon was when he was a kid.. or so i hear! So last week i put gavin down on the blanket and went into the bedroom.. when i came back he had rolled over!! yay success! lol except he had rolled onto the hard wood and threw up everywhere.. (yes i am used to that so i didnt freak out at all :)) He has found this laugh he does, where he inhales as much as he can (its sounds halarious!) then lets out a laugh . and then he will do it over and over again.. its the cutest thing ive ever seen. ofcourse every mom thinks there baby is the cutest! but how could they not :) the whole time i was pregnant i looked forward to gavin being a mommys boy... i dont think i got so lucky with that. although yes he loves me for sure.. his dad is way funner to look at. i dont know what it is but gavin will not look at me when brandon is home... its all eyes on daddy! lol but brandon loves it. and even though im jelous i think its the cutest thing. Gavin started scooting.. yay! he has kind of a hard time though cuz when he does it his face goes right into the ground. u can tell he is trying so hard though!. poor little guy. but he will get there. its so fun to watch him get smarter. oh ya!.. he is eating big boy food now.. yummy rice cereal lol once a day. his face is priceless cuz the first bite he does not like at all! but its growing on him. he also is loving his feet.. he always has his feet in his hands and is trying to eat them hahah yummmmm. lol capri came over the other day and took pics of him for me and we could not get him to let go of those cute little feet. lol everything he can get ahold of goes right to the mouth. he loves playing with cousin wyatt.. and cant wait untill he can crawl like he does. he is also sitting now! for about 20 sec at first then he will lose balance but its getting better! yesterday he sat for a few minutes.. i couldnt believe it! he really likes it now. well he is sleeping better now.. finally! i thaught i was never going to sleep again. but his schedule is back to normal. me and brandon are so glad. well thats all for now. :) xoxo

hey everyone! so i know a few ppl now who have had trouble with there baby sleeping through the night. Encluding myself. So i decided to do some searching! finally. i should have done this before. so at i village i came accross so nift tips! so here are 8 tips for u! they r. #1 keep a routine at night so he knows its time for sleep #2 let him nap in a well lit area in the day, and a dark area at night so he know the difference #3 avoid diaper changes at night so he know.. nights r for sleeping! #4 try not to give your baby a pacifier at night so there is NO waking up when it falls out of his mouth! :) #5 Relax him before bed, swadle him or rock him, even if give him a bath if that is what sooths him. (keep the evenings calm and tv down so he doesnt get excited and awake) #6 if your baby sleeps in... wake him up earlier and put him to bed earlier so he sleeps when u sleep. #7 feed in the dark during the day to keep him from distractions.. this way he will be better fed and have a better chance at sleeping through the night. .... sound good?? i think so.. im going to try everyone of them!! yay i hope it works!! let me know if it does for u! :)

wow i cannot believe the new year is here!!! my birthday was jan 4th and brandon made it so amazing! i was very impressed! :) we went to dinner at the melting pot.. its a fondue restaraunt and then he suprised me with a bunch of ppl for a party back at that house!. aw. well im big 21 now.. and im so blessed, im so excited for this new yr, there is so much im excited for! especially to watch our little gavin grow!... he is eating baby cereal now and he is not sure if he likes it yet, but we r working on it lol..he is definalty scooting now and trying so hard to move around, he drank out of a straw a few weeks ago and his face was priceless! i loved it,. me and brandon laughed so hard. well thats what has been going on!.. xoxo

Christmas decorations!

its so much fun at when christmas comes and its time to put up the tree! its my favorite time of year., me and brandon had so much fun picking out our ornaments. here are a few of em!! we got a really cute picture of gavin watching the tv. he loves it! poor little guy has a lung virus and we have had the humitifier on him all week. hopefully he is better befor r trip to canada! :)

christmas!!!!!!!! yay! so exicited. it was so much fun puting up the tree this year, gavin loves the lights so much! ive been rocking him in front of the tree to put him to sleep. we decided to put it up earlier this year! its hard work and we wanted it up longer. these r a couple pics we tried to make it look like gavin was putting an ornament on the tree! haha i love that pic!

The Pupkin Patch!

our cute little pumpkin! aww we love! how cute is this pic. we we went to the ruldoph farm a week before our trip. got the cutest pictures! the show "little ppl big world" thats there pumpkin patch! it was really busy there so many ppl. we went with randy and capri bird. the little guys looked so cute in there costumes. we tried to get gavin to smile but he just wanst sure what was going on lol we got a couple though.

halloween night

this was halloween in hawaii! it was crazyness out there! and hot out. we walked up the trip and i couldnt believe how insane ppl r lol. we didnt stay too long. gavin was so tired cuz of the time difference so we just let him sleep in the stroller . poor little guy., well next yr we can take him trick or treating and he will love it. we got him a cow costume and took pics at the pupkin patch so he did get to ware it a week before., long night though. haha brandons constume is so funny! love it! all the oriental ppl wanted pics of him haha.

our hawaii trip

alright so i know its been a while sense ive blogged but im going to get better now that i know how to do everything on here. well 2 weeks ago we were in hawaii!.. yes again. lol it was nice but definatly different with a baby thats for sure! .. it was for brandons bro grad trip so the fam went. gavin actually did so good. he is such an awesome baby we r so lucky. he is starting to smile and giggle now! im so attached to him its crazy, if im away from him over an hour i go crazy but im sure thats normal for all first moms. he is that little man of my life! :) well brandon and me r loving having him more and more each day. we tried to dip his feet in the ocean in hawaii but he was not happy at all. lol i guess it was too cold for him! over all it was a good trip! but im glad to be home!
